目的:了解金属蛋白酶组织抑制因子-1在食管癌中的作用。方法:36例食管癌患者术中取癌组织及正常食管组织;提取组织总RNA;用逆转录共扩增定量PCR方法测定金属蛋白酶组织抑制因子-1(TIMP1)基因表达水平。结果:食管癌组织TIMP1基因表达水平明显高于正常食管组织。食管癌患者TIMP1基因表达水平与肿瘤大小呈显著负相关;与肿瘤组织学类型无关。结论:TIMP1在阻止食管癌的浸润、转移中可能起重要作用。
Objective: To investigate the role of tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1 in esophageal cancer. Methods: Thirty-six patients with esophageal cancer underwent intraoperative esophageal cancer and normal esophageal tissue extraction. Tissue RNA was extracted from tissue samples. The expression of tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1 (TIMP1) gene was detected by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Results: TIMP1 gene expression in esophageal cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in normal esophageal tissues. There was a significant negative correlation between TIMP1 gene expression and tumor size in esophageal cancer patients, but not with tumor histological type. Conclusion: TIMP1 may play an important role in preventing the invasion and metastasis of esophageal cancer.
