本文针对大学英语中的一个薄弱点——听力环节,探讨是否可以把关联能力有意识地运用到课堂教学中,让学生不局限于机械地听,而学会动脑筋关联、判断、推理等,从而提高听力理解的准确度。首先介绍了关联理论及其在听力课堂中的指导作用;其次设计实验,通过对学生测试的分数运用SPSS分析,印证关联技巧的确可以作为一种听力技巧,帮助学生提高听力水平;最后提出教师课堂上可以有意识地进行关联能力的培养。
