From 1975 to 1985, Trichogramma was cultured in the same culture medium in vitro. The experiment shows that the choice of medium has nothing to do with the difference of bee species. The success rate of in vitro culture depends on whether or not Trichogramma can lay eggs on the artificial host eggs and how much they lay, which is determined by the size and oviposition behavior of various Trichogrammas.
