According to China’s national conditions, there is a need for preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy for locally advanced cervical cancer, but the choice of chemotherapy is quite controversial. Preoperative intravenous chemotherapy is only in the past 10 years because of the emergence of new and effective anti-cancer drugs and make full use of advantages, but the history of cervical cancer chemotherapy is longer than intravenous chemotherapy, arterial chemotherapy can be passed in a short period of time Improve the dose of drugs within the lesion and effectively reduce the volume of the tumor, lay the surgical foundation for follow-up treatment. This article discusses the pros and cons of two chemotherapy regimens, from the history and mechanism of arterial chemotherapy, compared with the efficacy of intravenous chemotherapy, economic benefits, etc. for discussion for clinicians.
