A series of tests were conducted at high temperatures on the joints of steel beams with H-beam columns and unfilled or partially overcladded concrete. The connection of the two kinds of steel columns and the connection of the flat-plate with some H-beams were studied. The objective of the experiment was to investigate the behavior of beam-column joints affected by binding and large rotation in a fire situation and to provide experimental data for the development and verification of a simplified component-based connection model. It is found that the joint of channel has higher strength and ductility, which can effectively reduce the probability of node fracture and improve the robustness of the building in case of fire.
