Eph / ephrin is the most commonly known family of protein receptor tyrosine kinases, and its expression in the embryonic stage promotes the hierarchical anatomy and functional modeling of the central nervous system. In adulthood, Eph / ephrin expression can be influenced by changes in synaptic plasticity Neural stem cell proliferation and differentiation and the regulation of nerve regeneration and other mechanisms affect the central nerve plasticity. Activation or inhibition of Eph / ephrin may have a significant impact on the treatment and rehabilitation of central nervous system injuries such as stroke.
