中共中央国务院在《关于深化教育改革全面推进素质教育的决定》中重点强调：“美育不仅能陶冶情操，提高素养，而且有助于开发智力，对于促进学生全面发展具有不可替代的作用。要尽快改变学校美育工作薄弱的状况，将美育融入学校教育的全过程。”由此可见，“适者生存，美者优存”是新世纪响亮的召唤！
