一、前言 1959年9—10月间,结合我院生产实习,我们承担了湖南省地质局在祁阳、零陵、东安、新宁等县以及包括广西全县一部分的区域测量工作。我们在区域测量的工作中,发现测区范围内的上泥盆统锡矿山组之上和下石炭统孟公坳组之下普遍地发育着一层砂岩,而且比较稳定。根据中国区域地层表(草案)湖南中部地层表中,在锡矿山组之上的砂岩称之为“岳麓砂岩”,其时代为石炭泥盆纪。但是在我们的测区范围内以及北京地质学院湖南区测大队在湖南中部的区测工作中,在这层“岳麓砂岩”中均采得了不少锡矿山期
I. Introduction From September to October 1959, in combination with our production internship, we undertook the regional surveys of the Hunan Bureau of Geology in counties of Qiyang, Lingling, Dongan and Xinning as well as a part of Guangxi’s entire county. In our work on regional surveys, we found that a sandstone generally developed above and below the Upper Devonian Group and below the Lower Carboniferous Menggongao Formation, and is relatively stable. According to the Table of Chinese Regional Stratigraphic Table (Draft) in the middle Hunan Stratigraphic Table, the sandstone above the Xikuanshan Formation is called “Yuelu Sandstone” and its age is Carboniferous Devonian. However, within the scope of our survey area and in the regional survey of the Hunan Provincial Geophysical Brigade in Hunan Province in Central Hunan, many tin mines were obtained in this “Yuelu Sandstone”
