自从《旧约全书》从原希伯莱文译成希腊文的版本(Septuagint)出现后,关于翻译艺术的文献就大量地出版,以至于大多数的现代大学都设立了翻译系,专门研究翻译问题。但是在我们的这个研讨会上,我们不可能以学院派的方式去探讨,我想我们最好还是集中研究我们在亚洲国家中所面临的有关这方面的问题。这些问题已经成了我们的知识活动中的一个重要组成部分。的确,翻译从来没有像现代这样在我们的国家生活中许多方面起如此重要的作用。 Since the appearance of the Old Testament from the original Septuagint version of Hebrew, the literature on translation art has been published in large numbers, so that most modern universities have established translation departments that specialize in translation problem. However, at this seminar, we can not discuss it in an academic way. I think it is better for us to focus on the issues we face in Asian countries. These issues have become an important part of our knowledge activities. Indeed, translation has never played such an important role in many aspects of our nation’s life as modern times do.
