根据认知语义学理论,“上”和“on”是汉语和英语编码“接触”意象图式产生的两个空间介词,它们的意义分别呈现为一个结构化的网络。对两个介词的语义对比以语料库抽样分析为基础,以Hawkins(1984,1993)意义描述为标准,以总体意义分布、空间意义、原型意义和修辞意义为内容。比较结果表明,两个介词在意义表达上具有较大的相似性,显示汉英两种语言对“接触”空间关系的认知和概念化具有较大的相似性。
According to cognitive semantic theory, “Shang ” and “on ” are two spatial prepositions generated by the Chinese and English encoding “Contact ” image schemata, and their meanings are presented as a structured network. The semantic contrast between the two prepositions is based on the corpus sampling analysis and is based on the description of Hawkins (1984, 1993) as the standard, with the distribution of the total meaning, spatial meaning, archetypal meaning and rhetorical meaning as the content. The comparison results show that the two prepositions have greater similarities in meaning expression, indicating that the two languages of Chinese and English have greater similarity to the cognition and conceptualization of the spatial relationship of “Contact ”.
