目前,中国已成为世界上患糖尿病率最高的国家之一。据北京医院老年病防治办公室的数字表明,我国的中老年人糖尿病患者总数已达三千万人;在城市人口中,糖尿病患者或潜在的糖尿病患者(耐糖量低下)已达10% 左右。治疗糖尿病最重要的是把住“进口关”。可喜的是,无糖食品已成为食品企业的开发热点,这些食品的陆续面市无疑给广大糖尿病患者带来新的希望。 简单来说,无糖食品即指不添加任何糖类甜味剂的食品。初级的无糖食品就是将食品中的含糖量降至最低乃至全部去除,如市售的一些无糖奶粉、无糖豆粉等,但这种食品往往淡而无味。而人们希望食品在不含糖的同时又能保持良好的口味,这时就出现了添加非糖类甜味剂的新型无糖食品。
