用应变传感器及其按装工具进行钻孔平底面应力解除,是近代公认的岩体应力测量的重要工具之一。通过它量测到的地下岩体中受力状态下的弹性恢复应变及利用岩石的弹性常数,可以了解地下岩体未开挖坑道前的原始地应力和坑道周围应力分布的一般特征;为地下结构的设计、峒室的布置提供必要的基本参数;对于正确地设计地下峒室的断面型式、尺寸及其在空间上的相对布置,高效率、经济地充分回收国家地下资源等方面皆具有一定意义。
