Authors since 1985, the use of 95% alcohol in the treatment of 78 cases of chronic anal fissure, received good results. The group of 53 males and 25 females; aged 18 to 62 years; duration of 6 months to 6 years; anal fissure located at 6 o’clock in the lithotomy at 64, 6 and 12
