The physiological function of prostaglandins in the male reproductive system is unclear, and the relationship between male fertility and prostaglandin levels in its seminal plasma is not clear. Some past observations suggest that changes in endogenous prostaglandin levels may affect male fertility. This study examined the effect of prostaglandin synthesis-inhibiting drug-indomethacin chronic treatment of male rats on plasma LH, FSH and testosterone levels and on fertility.
