华北油田任平2井177．8mm技术套管下至3150．36m潜山顶部，然后用152．4mm钻头增斜和水平钻至井深3483m。根据测井资料，用3个封隔器和2个CMD滑套的完井管柱将目的层分为两段，先用换位工具将上、下两段的滑套都打开进行合试，然后关闭上段滑套只对下段试油，后又进行了酸化。实践证明，选择性完井工艺是成功的。文中介绍了选择性完井管柱各工具的结构、功能，并详细介绍了在任平2井的使用情况。
