The energy absorption capability of composite stanchions under fuselage cargo floor is one of the key factors in the crash of aircrafts, which will surely influence the crashworthiness.In this paper, the crushing of the stanchions is simulated based on finite element method.Meanwhile, two kinds of composite materials (CYCOM X850-35-12K&T700GC 12K) have been taken in consideration.In order to exploit the energy absorption capability of composite stanchions, different thicknesses, heights, sections, trigger modes and loading velocities have been discussed as well.
