Using tin tetrachloride pentahydrate and lanthanum nitrate as raw materials, Lanthanum stannate powder (La2Sn2O7) was prepared by sol-gel method.And then Ag/La2Sn2O7 electrical contact composites were prepared by high-energy ball milling and powder metallurgy process.Effects of surface modifiers, sintering temperature and sintering time on the morphology and phase of La2Sn2O7 were investigated, and the physical and electrical properties of Ag-La2Sn2O7 were studied.Results show that La2Sn2O7 powder with mesoporous structure was obtained at the sintering temperature of 920℃ when using ammonium bicarbonate as gelling agent.When the sintering temperature is 860℃, Ag/La2Sn2O7 showed the lowest electrical resistivity and contact resistance.
