  Lymphatic metastasis,leading up of the blood metastasis,is the most common metastasis tumor metastasis which is one of the main causes of death in cancer patients.Tumor cells invade the pre-existing lymphatic vessels of the peripheral after cells invade the lymphatic system,and lymphangiogenesis is induced via the production of lymphangiogenic factors and various mediators.At the same time the basic process of lymphangiogenesis includes the growth and metastasis of lymphatic endothelial cells and the formation of lymphatic vessels.Lymphatic metastasis is the main transfer channel in breast cancer which is the most common malignancy in women.Fucoxanthin,a kind of promising marine drug material from brown algae,belongs to fat-soluble carotenoids,contains a variety of isomers and more than one olefin skeleton with variety of pharmacological activities such as anti-tumor,anti-inflammatory,anti-oxidation,anti-aging,fat acid decomposition and blood sugar regulation.
