aU.urealyticumis the microorganism most frequently culturedfrom the amniotic fluid of women in preterm labor.The relationshipbetween endocervical UreaplasmaorMycoplasmasSpeciesand subsequentpregnancy outcomeofpatients with unknown-causesthreatened PLT symptomswas investigated.Endocervical swabs obtained from 162 patients at 20-36 weeks gestation.U.urealyticumwas identified in 73 samples (45%),and M.hominiswas identified in 10 samples (6%).Twenty of theU.urealyticm-possitive patientsobservedone bacterium (Uu+ bacterium) along with.However,compared with culture-negative patients,cervical colonization of U.urealyticum or M.hominisis not related with adverse pregnancy outcomes as PTL and PPROM.And U.urealyticm-possitive did not enhance the prevalenceof other bacteria.But M.hominisis significant associated with a lower Apgar score of neonate.
