实际的边坡多呈现出成层分布特性,但以往研究和稳定性分析主要针对均质边坡进行。成层土坡破坏特性和机理研究具有重要的工程意义和理论价值。进行了水位骤降条件下成层土坡破坏的离心模型试验,观测了土坡变形破坏过程。结果表明水位骤降导致边坡发生错动破坏,边坡的成层特性对滑裂面的形状和破坏顺序影响都很大。滑裂面在砂层中近似为一条直线,而在黏土层中有一定的曲率。砂层和黏土层分别表现出从下而上和从上而下的滑裂面发展过程。土坡的变形局部化是破坏的原因。
