CJ-1, a naturally abundant plant phenolic compound in vegetables and fruits,has been shown to have potent anti-oxidative and anti-obesity activity.In this study, we first investigated the beneficial effects of CJ-1 administration on nutritional hepatosteatosis model by a more "holistic view" approach, 1H NMRbased metabolomics, to proof efficacy and to obtain information that lead to understanding the mode of CJ-1 action.
