  The most widely studiedof imidazoliumcyclophanebecause of the positive charge on the imidazolium,which makes the C-H activity on the imidazole ring can generate hydrogen bonds with the guest molecule or be removed in an alkaline environment to form carbene.Based on the good recognition performance of imidazole ring compound and the 3D structure of carborane.The introduction of carborane into the imidazolium ring can increase the stereo configuration and cavity size,which will be better for the detection of organic pollutants 1-2.Basd on this idea,1,2-diaryl-o-borane was used as the basic framework,and hydroquinone ethoxylate and pyridyl group was used as bridging group to [1+1] quaternized high-efficiency oriented ring closure.Fluorescence experiment shows that the receptor Acan selectively recognize p-aminophenol neutral molecules by forming intermolecular hydrogen bonding and π-π stacking.
