In order to keep learners motivating and engaging throughout the learning process, the research team had previously developed an interactive game,Phonic Fun(Wu,Huang, and Chan,2016).However,the game failed to reach the goals. The possible reason might be the unsuitable learning contents and the limited learning material. To this end, this study designed an e-portfolio-based student-centered game to improving young EFL learners learning motivation and learning achievements in phonics. To evaluate the effectiveness of this system, this study plans to conduct a pilot study to observe and record students using condition.By doing so,we hope the system can efficiently raise students learning motivation and improve learning achievements in English.
