  Bifacial photovoltaic (PV) modules allow to harvest sunlight from both front and rear side,which demonstrate excellent outdoor performance,especially in PV systems with have higher rear side reflection.Glass to glass (G2G) design in bifacial PV modules also leads to higher reliability and long term stability which enables 30-years product guarantee.Up to 8-30% higher yield gain,compared to conventional mono-facial PV modules,was achieved and reported.Various technologies can be used to realize advanced solar cell structures for significant bifaciality,such HIT,PERT,IBC,etc.In this paper,different technologies and solar cell structures for bifacial PV modules are reviewed and compared.It also reports that bifacial nPERT modules made by HT-SAAE and their excellent outdoor performance at different PV system configurations.
