The best gauge of utility of antibody drug discovery platforms is their productivity across the many stages in the long and risk-laden process of drug discovery and development rather than their productivity in ()nerating binders to the antigen target.Critical considerations in the discovery and development process include the desired modulation of the target, the desired potency of that modulation, specificity, manufacturability, formulation and immunogenicity.
