Objective: To investigate the expression of zinc finger protein 139(ZNF139) and its relationship with the matrix metalloproteinase-2(MMP-2) and the MMP-7 gene in the primary tumor and the metastatic tumor of orthotopic implantation in nude mice.Methods: Orthotopic implantation in nude mice with human gastric carcinoma cells was established.Reverse transcriptionpolymerase chain reaction and immunohistochemistry were used to detect the expression of ZNF139, MMP-2, and MMP7 in orthotopic transplantation tumor, liver metastasis, spleen metastasis, peritoneal metastasis, and lymph node metastasis.
