Background and aim Differentiating between malignant and benign biliary lesions is critical in clinical practice but is difficult.The aim of this study is to systematically review Spyglass diagnostic value on indeterminate biliary lesions.Method Articles up to the spring of 2014 were extracted from databases including Pubmed, Medline, Embase, Cochrane collaboration.Studies investigating Spyglass diagnostic accuracy on indeterminate biliary lesions were included.Diagnostic odds ratio (DOR) was calculated to estimate overall diagnostic accuracy, pooled sensitivity, specificity, positive likelihood ratio, negative likelihood ratio were also calculated.
