  The codling moth,Cydia pomonella(L.)(Lepidoptera: Tortricidae)is the key pest of pome fruits in temperate areas worldwide,is a serious invasive insect in China,and has caused severe damage to the production of apple in its region of distribution in the country.This species is found in the northwestern and northeastern regions of China,but no occurrence of it has been recorded in the areas between these two regions.
