Fourier coefficients of automorphic forms are powerful tools in the applications of analytic properties of automorphic forms to arithmetic problems in number theory,for instance,the arithmetic of quadratic forms via Siegels theory.In this talk,we discuss the representation-theoretic version of those classical theory and its application to the explicit construction of certain types of Langlands functoriality,such as the endoscopy transfers.
