核仁蛋白AIP4调节p53激活

  p53是一个重要的肿瘤抑制因子,它能通过激活多种下游基因从而诱导细胞周期停滞、DNA损伤修复以及细胞凋亡,进而在保持细胞基因组稳定性和抑制肿瘤细胞形成等方面发挥重要作用。当细胞处于正常生长状态时,p53蛋白产生后立即被E3泛素连接酶Mdm2泛素化并在蛋白酶体中降解,而当细胞处于应激状态,许多蛋白参与稳定和活化p53,促进p53激活其下游通路。核仁蛋白在稳定和活化p53的过程中发挥重要作用。
