大学英语教学需要注意整体性的原则,这是语言能力培养目标的基本要求。整体教学法的运用可以解决学生单纯学习只言片语的情况,提高学生对语言的综合性把握,提高学生的综合语言能力。这种教学法的思想主要体现在三个方面:词汇的整体教学,语篇的整体教学,以及教学中注重对学生听、说、读、写各方面能力的培养。同时整体教学法的有效实施也对大学英语教师提出了更高的要求,他们在教学中的不断总结与革新也是整体教学法保持活力的关键。
College English teaching needs to pay attention to the principle of integrity, which is the basic requirement of language ability training. The use of the overall teaching method can solve the simple case of students learning slogan, improve students ’overall grasp of the language, improve students’ comprehensive language ability. This teaching method is mainly reflected in three aspects: the overall teaching of vocabulary, the teaching of text as a whole, as well as teaching emphasis on students ability to listen to, say, read and write all aspects of training. At the same time, the effective implementation of the overall teaching method also puts forward higher requirements on college English teachers. Their continuous summarization and innovation in teaching are also the keys to keeping the whole teaching method alive.
