Delayed gastric emptying (DGE) after gastrojejunostomy is the main cause of postoperative morbidity in patients with unresectable periampullary cancer. The literature reports that the incidence of DGE after taking a jejunostomy is 14-29%. Weawer et al. pointed out that patients with nausea and vomiting prior to surgery always have failed gastrojejunostomy and are not beneficial for patients without duodenal obstruction. Lucas et al.
