我国的大型高炉配备大型轴流式风机以后,生产得到进一步强化,本钢2000米~3 5号高炉在1977年10月综合冶炼强度曾达0.95吨/米~3,炉容利用系数为1.77吨/米~3,随着钢铁生产的发展,大型高炉将发挥越来越大的作用。但是,在大型高炉强化过程中,操作上遇到一个问题——巨型管道行程,这种管道行程的特点是来的突然,反映剧烈,处理棘手,后果严重。 5号高炉于去年底和今年初,发生了三次巨型管道行程,第一次处理24小时,炉况方恢复正常,损失生铁两千余吨,焦炭四百吨,出号外铁一千吨。第三次造成了炉缸冻结,经过艰苦的历时五天的抢救,
