芝麻双茎栽培是在芝麻三对真叶时摘去顶尖,诱导第一或第二对真叶叶腋间腋芽萌发,长出双茎,以便大幅度提高单产的一项新技术。 1989年全市以襄阳县为重点,对芝麻双茎栽培技术进行了试验示范。据全市四点次试验示范结果:双茎栽培单株有效蒴果85.4个,每蒴71.1粒,千粒重2.53克,平均亩产69.5公斤,比常规(单茎)栽培单株蒴果多33.6个,每蒴多3.6粒,千粒重高0.06克,平均亩产高10.6~25.7公斤,增产31.5%~80.6%,亩增收62.1元。 一、增产机理浅析 1、芝麻双茎栽培缓解了植株下部间的竞争,能充分利用肥、水条件,有利于下部通风透光,减少荫蔽,减轻病害。据调查,芝麻双茎栽培比对照的茎点枯轻3.7%。
