响水县陈港中学共有四名外语教师。一位是文化大革命中进校的大学生,还有三位只在县师训班受过短期训练,从事中学外语教学困难更大。为了能够适应日益提高的教学要求,前两年他们制定了进修计划,规定每学期掌握新词汇500个左右,基础语法3—4项,决心通过自学进修在两三年内能够胜任教学工作。他们在进修中比较妥善地解决了如下一些问题。 There are four foreign language teachers in Xianggang County Chengang Middle School. One was a college student who entered the school during the Cultural Revolution. Three of them had only received short-term training in a county teacher training class, and it was more difficult to engage in foreign language teaching in middle schools. In order to be able to adapt to the ever-increasing teaching requirements, in the previous two years, they had established a study plan, which stipulated that each semester had mastered about 500 new vocabularies and 3-4 basic grammars, and determined that they would be able to perform teaching work within two or three years through self-education studies.
