聚合物和涂层材料的渗透系数 (P)、扩散系数 (D)和溶解系数 (S)是影响聚合物阻隔性能的关键参数。每个参数如何与“真实环境”相关,各个参数之间如何相关,以及它们如何随着时间而发生变化,都是包装工作者分析聚合物时的重要课题。本文介绍已经发展起来的对应于不同的聚合物快速和可靠地测定材料渗透系数 P、扩散系数 D、溶解系数 S的新技术。这种技术适用于食品包装、饮料包装、医药包装及其他包装。例如: MEK(甲基乙基酮 )通过 /进入定向拉伸聚丙烯 (OPP),典型的是微波炉爆玉米花中的奶油香料即丁二酮通过 /进入 OPP时的测定。
The permeability coefficient (P), diffusion coefficient (D) and solubility coefficient (S) of the polymer and the coating material are the key parameters that influence the barrier properties of the polymer. How each parameter relates to the “real world”, how the parameters relate to each other, and how they change over time are important issues for the packer in analyzing polymers. This paper presents new techniques that have been developed to rapidly and reliably determine material permeability coefficients P, diffusion coefficients D, and solubility coefficients S for different polymers. This technology is suitable for food packaging, beverage packaging, pharmaceutical packaging and other packaging. For example, MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone) passes / enters a Directional Stretched Polypropylene (OPP), typically a cream flavor in microwave popcorn, the assay for diacetyl passage / entry into OPP.
