In this paper, two kinds of Kullback-Leibler criteria with appropriate con straints are proposed to construct empirical likelihood confidence intervals for the mean of right censored data. It is shown that one of the criteria is equivalent to Adimari’s (1997)procedure, and the other shares the same asymptotic behavior.
