一、教学目标
(一)知识与技能
1..Key vocabulary: train, bus, subway, ride, bike, ride a bike, take the subway.
2..Key structures:
How do/does you/he get to ……?
I take/ride the ……to……
I go to……by(on foot)……
3..Ability aims:
Ask and answer about “How do/does you/he get to……?
Listening、speaking、and reading skills.
To train students’ communicative competence.
(二)方法与途径
1. 将1a,1b和1c整合为一个模块,以“How to get to…”为线索,学习新词和重点句型;把1c重新设计为听力之后填表格的一个任务,学生明确了听力中五位同学不同的到校方式,为他们后面的口语交际做好铺垫。
2.课堂的延伸,在对话中延伸至其他的交通方式(by plane, by ship等)学生既感兴趣,又巩固了所学知识;设置情景让学生明白健康环保的交通工具是我们的首选。
3. 当堂达标训练,即检测了学生对整堂课知识的综合运用,又巩固了所学知识。

教学方法: 提供较多的图片提高学生学习兴趣,设置大量对话任务来培养学生的交际能力,引导学生自己总结新知识点,在小组交流中分享及补充知识点。渗透情感教育。
学习方法: 学生以自主参与、交流对话为主。学生在学习的过程中,积极与他人合作,完成教师布置的各项教学任务。在课内外学习活动中学生能够用英语同他人交流;善于抓住英语交际的机会;在交际中,把注意力集中在意思的表达上。
四、教学过程
StepⅠ: Revision
Revise Unit 2. Ask students some questions, let them answer.
What time do you usually get up ?
What time do you usually eat breakfast?
What time do you usually go to school ?
The teacher asks how you usually get to school?
【设计意图:用回顾第二单元的一些日常时间安排,很自然地就引出了这节课要学习的交通方式,这样可以使学生很容易地去接受新的事物。】
StepⅡ:Lead-in
1.Say, ” We know many kinds of transportation. Do you know how to express them in English? Now let’s learn them together.”
2.Look at the pictures, and learn the names of some transportation, then ask“How do you get to school?”Help them to answer “I take the bus to school or I go to school by bus .”Then students read after me. Then look at the other two pictures and talk about them.
(Write down the useful expressions on the blackboard. Do some explanations if necessary.)

(Write down the useful expressions on the blackboard. And add two kinds of transportation---- plane and ship )
5. Then ask the students to match the words with the pictures.

本节课让学生在老师的指导下,通过感知、体验、参与和合作等方式,实现任务的目标,感受成功。在学习的过程中进行情感和策略调整,以帮助学生形成积极的学习态度,促进其语言实际能力的提高。同时师生相互合作,相互沟通,相互影响,相互补充,从而能共识、共享、共进,这是教学相长的真谛。
多媒体的运用直观、快捷、合理,提高了课堂教学的有效性。在展示过程中,教师能适时的使用激励性的语言,极大的调动了学生的学习积极性。
不足之处及改进措施:
1.部分看似积极参与活动,但在笔头落实中常常出错。所以在今后做活动时,应适当把握节奏,并且设计活动时注意口头与笔头的交叉进行。
2对于基础知识薄弱,课堂表现不积极的学生来说,课后还需要加强巩固练习。
