智力的发展是离不开训练,离不开实践的。可是,人们往往在高喊发展智力的同时,在教学实践中却干着不利于智力发展的事。譬如“填空练习”(指机械的填空),就不利于学生智力的发展,至少存在着以下弊病: 一、束缚学生手脚,不利于培养具有“见疑”和“创造”能力的人。综观填空,大都是死题死填,语言环境是固定的,答案是固定的。这种只此一家,别无分店的填法,只能培养学生呆读死记,甚至形成侥幸心理。我们知道,“见疑”是智力发展的萌芽,“创造”是智力发展的标志。那种填空练习恰恰不允许学生“见疑”和“创造”,只能按规定
The development of intelligence is inseparable from training and inseparable from practice. However, people are often shouting about the development of intelligence while doing things that are not conducive to intellectual development in teaching practice. For example, “filling in blank exercises” (mechanical blanking) is not conducive to the development of students’ intelligence. There are at least the following shortcomings: First, binding students’ hands and feet is not conducive to cultivating people with the ability to “see doubts” and “create.” Looking at filling in the blanks, most of them are dead questions, the language environment is fixed, and the answer is fixed. This kind of only one, no other way to fill the store, can only train students to read the death record, and even form a fluke. We know that “seeing doubt” is the germ of intellectual development, and “creation” is a sign of intellectual development. The kind of blank-filling practice does not allow students to “see doubts” and “creation” and can only follow the rules.
