·新闻背景·1月12日,中国经济学界的两位代表性人物——吴敬琏与厉以宁坐到了一起。这次发生在北大光华新年论坛上的巅峰对话被认为是吴敬琏与厉以宁近10年来的首次对话。作为改革开放30年经济理论的推动者,他们因在市场经济改革、股份制改革方面作出的重要贡献,而被冠以“吴市场”、“厉股份”的称号。但学术上的分歧曾使人们在相当长的时间里很少见到他们在同一个公共场合出现,更不用说在公众面前面对面地交流。这使得这场对话在经济学界具有“解放思想、学术独立”的标志性意义。
· News Background · On January 12, two representatives from the Chinese economics circle, Wu Jinglian and Li Yining, got together. This summit at Peking University’s Guanghua New Year Forum is considered the first dialogue between Wu Jinglian and Li Yining in the past 10 years. As the promoters of the economic theory of the 30 years since the reform and opening up, they have been given the title of “Wu market” and “Li stock” for their important contributions in market economy reform and shareholding system reform. But academic disagreements have made it very rare for people to see themselves in the same public place for quite a long time, let alone face-to-face with the public. This makes the dialogue have the symbolic significance of “emancipating the mind and academic independence” in the field of economics.
