Due to the weak market, ethylene in Asia may go to Europe. In November last year, four cargo ships carried ethylene from Thailand and Malaysia to Europe. Asian ethylene prices have fallen from the peak of 710-730 US dollars/ton in October last year to 600 US dollars/ton (cfr Asia). Market news said that the latest offer is 570 ~ 580 US dollars / ton (cfr Southeast Asia). Taking into account the European price, ASEM arbitrage prices can reach 700 US dollars / ton (cfr Europe).
