学习动机(learning motivation)作为影响学习者学习效果的重要因素之一一直备受学术界的关注。在外语动机研究方面,对大学本科生的动机与外语学习成绩的关系的研究已经十分普遍,但针对具有明显职业特色的高职生的英语学习动机和学习成绩的关系研究甚少。随着我国高职教育的兴起,高职生的队伍已相当可观。英语口语课上,学生发音不准确,声音小甚至不开口的现象十分普遍。为此,笔者以某职业院校为例,以问卷调查法调查了:1.目前高职生口语学习动机中,内在动机和外在动机哪种更加显著?2.不同口语水平的受试者的动机差异性如何?继而通过定量研究方法对64名非英语专业高职生的英语口语水平与其学习动机的相关性进行研究,调查研究发现:高职生的英语口语水平与他们英语学习中的内在动机和外在动机没有显著的相关性,但不说明没有相关性。学习动机作为影响外语学习的重要因素之一,采用动机激励教学激发学生的英语学习兴趣十分必要。
Learning motivation, as one of the important factors influencing the learning effect of learners, has drawn the attention of academics. In foreign language motivation research, the research on the relationship between undergraduate motivation and foreign language achievement has been very common, but there is little research on the relationship between English motivation and achievement of vocational students with obvious vocational characteristics. With the rise of our higher vocational education, the ranks of higher vocational students have been considerable. Oral English class, the students pronunciation is not accurate, the sound is small or not even open the phenomenon is very common. To this end, the author of a vocational college, for example, surveyed by questionnaire: 1. At present vocational students in oral motivation, internal motivation and external motivation which is more significant? 2. Subjects with different levels of speaking Motivation of the difference? And then through quantitative research methods of 64 non-English majors in English oral English proficiency and their motivation to study the relationship between the study found that: vocational college students’ oral English and their English learning There is no significant correlation between internal motivation and external motivation, but it does not indicate that there is no correlation. Learning motivation is one of the important factors that affect foreign language learning. It is necessary to motivate students to learn English by motivational teaching.
