Trajectory / Train Dynamics (TTD) The use of heavy-haul trains at high speeds has caused many more serious new problems, rooted in the dynamics of trains and orbits. Its main manifestations are poor operational quality, cargo damage, excessive wear, accidents and derailment. “Engineering can be thought of as the art of applying science for the benefit of a commercial purpose.” Based on this understanding, in the past ten years, working procedures for orbit / train dynamics research have been developed by the United States, Canada and Mexico. In the meantime, a traffic test center built by the Federal Railroad Administration is one of the largest and most advanced railway test centers in the world. The test center is located near Pueblo, Colorado
