法国巴黎地下铁轨道工程列车采用蓄电池机车。法国巴黎运输公社于1986年就完成了14台蓄电池电力机车。轨道工程列车编组是:在列车前后各设一台机车,中间挂3节工程用货车。使用蓄电池动力的这种列车总重300t,走行速度为15km/h。利用第三轨直流750V进行供电时,走行速度为45km/h。机车自重60t,搭载牵引用450V蓄电池1个,79V辅助蓄电池1个及两台充电机。用第三轨进行直流750V供电时,牵引用蓄电池就自动进行充电。牵引用蓄电池要进行夜间作业,就必须常时保持有电,从而每隔6h就得进行足量允
