3 Claims Obtained 3.1 International Oil Pollution Compensation Corporation Claims Policy The International Oil Pollution Compensation Fund accepts claims under the definition of pollution damage and preventative measures as provided for in the Convention. The uniform definition of definitions plays a substantive role in the implementation of the system of reparations established by the Convention. The International Oil Pollution Compensation Fund’s policy on the subject of claimability has been recognized by member governments. Each claim has its own specific circumstances, so it is necessary
