The 1990 International Conference of Chinese Materials Research Society (C-MRS), which is chaired by Professor Yan Dongsheng and Professor Shi Changxu, academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences, was held in Beijing from June 19 to June 22. More than 800 materials from 20 countries including China, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, the United Kingdom, France, West Germany, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands, Australia, Japan, Iran, the Soviet Union, Bulgaria and South Korea Scientists attended the conference, including more than 100 foreign scientists.
