慈善事业，青年的力量
　　Under the background of public welfare’s high-speed development in the world， a growing number of young people have chosen to devote themselves to charity， and their recognition and participation in charity have given them a new name， the “public welfare youth”.
　　“Children began to ask me questions， which made me feel grown-up and capable of helping people in need.” Such words reflect the true feelings of many young people participating in public welfare. It is an undeniable fact that young people are gaining stronger social responsibilities through participating in charity. Charity encourages people， especially young people， to be grateful， responsible and devoted. People， especially young people， can feel warmth and loftiness in charity from offering as well as receiving. Participating in charity purifies souls and perfect personalities.
　　In addition， under the grim employment situation， charity provides some job opportunities for young people to improve themselves， interact with communities， and also rebuild their self-values.
　　A single tree cannot stop a sandstorm， but a million trees together will bring environmental effect. When most young people decide to practice charity， their combined power will have much more profound influence.
　　在当前全球公益事业迅速发展的背景下，越来越多的青年将投身公益事业作为人生道路上的重要选择。对公益精神的认同与呵护已经成为当代青年人群体引人注目的新亮点，“公益青年”闪亮登上了时代舞台。
　　“当孩子们问我问题的时候，我觉得自己真的长大了，可以有能力去帮助需要帮助的人”。普通一句话道出了众多参与慈善事业的青年之心声，不可否认，在致力于慈善事业的过程中，青年人的社会责任感也在不断加强。慈善事业有助于培养人们特别是青少年的爱心，感恩之情、社会责任感和奉献精神，人们特别是青少年在为他人提供帮助或者接受别人帮助的过程中，用心体验慈善的温暖，领悟慈善的崇高，不仅提升了道德情操、净化了心灵，而且进行了人格完善。
　　除此之外，在全球青年面临严峻就业压力的情境下，慈善事业在一定程度上还可以提供促进青年成长成才的工作岗位，帮助青年加强同社区的交流，重新构建自我价值。
　　一棵树难挡风沙，万亩林足以改变气候。当慈善成为绝大多数青年的行为选择时，他们汇聚成的力量必将影响深远。
