Small gas laser systems also experience all of the similar failures of any other device. Since many users do not have sufficient funds to purchase new systems or major components, how to best maintain the laser and prevent as many faults as possible become an important issue. Table 1 lists the items that may require repair. Table 1 General gas laser repair 1. Test - in-depth analysis of the damage form. 2. Exchange the tube - exchange the laser medium and reassemble the gas reservoir. Replaced window - Replace Brewster window (price should include refill). 4. Pipe reprocessing - Repair leaks in the vacuum chamber and eliminate contaminants at high temperatures. These repairs also include window replacement and refilling. 5. Exchange the electrode - replace the failed electrode, and then re-assembly and re-processing. 6. Repair and cleaning of cooling shrouds - usually to solve the problem of accumulation of inorganic substances.
