19世纪末20世纪初,是艺术语言的自觉时代,是“奇事异物的时代”。诸多流派和手法的缤纷呈现,让人们感到困惑不解。那些曾在传统艺术中所包含的因素被一一独立出来,艺术家把宗教性、政治性和文学性等因素都排除了,就连被尊奉的形感和体积感也被诸艺术家所摒弃。这场革命对于传统艺术的主导地位带来了势不可挡的冲击。传统艺术正在逐渐失去其主导地位。这种革命最终是造成了“架上绘画”——这一传统艺术的危机?抑或是导致了艺术的一种新生?
The early 19th century and the early 20th century were the conscious times of the artistic language and the “epoch of strange things”. Various genres and techniques of colorful presentation, so that people are puzzled. The factors that have been included in the traditional arts are separated from one another. Artists exclude religious, political, and literary reasons. Even the demeanor of sense of shape and sense of volume is abandoned by artists. This revolution has brought an overwhelming impact on the dominance of traditional arts. Traditional art is gradually losing its dominance. Did this revolution eventually lead to a “painting on the shelf” - a crisis of traditional art or a new birth to art?
