阿马蒂亚.森从人是否拥有实质自由的角度来批判以往的狭隘发展观,并论述了自由与发展的辩证关系,即自由是发展的首要目的,自由也是促进发展的不可缺少的重要手段。从自由发展观的角度审视当前我国社会主义和谐社会的构建,扩展公民自由既是构建和谐社会的首要目的,也是构建和谐社会的主要手段。
Amartya Sen criticizes the narrow concept of development in the past from the point of view of whether people have substantive freedom and discusses the dialectical relationship between freedom and development. That is, freedom is the primary goal of development. Freedom is also an indispensable and important means of promoting development. . Examining the current construction of a harmonious socialist society in our country from the perspective of the concept of free development, the expansion of civil liberties is not only the primary purpose of building a harmonious society but also the main means of building a harmonious society.
